At night I went to Gold Power seminar at PJ One.

An Evening With Datuk Sharifah Aini

Last Friday night I attended "An Evening With Datuk Sharifah Aini" at Dewan Perdana Felda, Kuala Lumpur.




After all these years of maturity Datuk Sharifah Aini still sounded great. I enjoyed the 4 hours performance tremendously. It was both nostalgic and intimate because apart from singing her trademark songs down memory lane she also shared some of her touching life history memories with the 890 plus audience who are mostly her ardent fans from all over the country. I met a couple of ladies in a lift who travelled all the way from Johor to spend the evening with her. There were also fans from Singapore. Some of her fans even took flight home from abroad to celebrate the evening that was supposedly the start of a series of events to commemorate Datuk Sharifah Aini's more than 40 years of involvement in the music industry. An honourary salute to Datuk Sharifah Aini.







I managed to meet a number of friends from youtube at the event. Even though I recorded some of the evening highlights on video but the recording quality is not very good. Still I uploaded some of them to youtube. I attach one highlight here but the rest one need to visit my youtube channel to view.



I even managed to get hold of Datuk Sharifah Aini's 1979 Lela Manja album on compact disc. It is my favourite album.

Roof Repair

A few weeks back, a number of tiles from the roof of my house fell off from the first floor and hit the roofing of the porch outside the kitchen on the ground floor.

Yesterday, the repair work was done involving replacement of about 12 pieces of roofing tiles and 3 pieces of that 'tranparent plactic thing'. I paid RM2,700.00 for the work. Expensive!

Business Opportunity Fair Epilogue

Overall it was a good visit to the Business Opportunity Fair. I parked my car at Kuang Station and took the komuter to KL Sentral where I then travel by monorail to Melia Hotel. The roads in Kuala Lumpur are jammed. On my way home the public transportation was packed with commuters.

The function hall for the fair may be small and packed but the spirit is definitely high. Each booth tries to outdo each other in attracting and keeping visitors to their booth. There are gifts galore, games, performances and lucky draws. I learned that this was the 11th time it was held on a quarterly basis. Hopefully, there will be more booth next time around. Here are some of the gifts I got and some business opportunity available.

Business Opportunity Fair

From today's Star, the Business Opportunity Fair advertisement caught my attention. I got to take time and attend the fair. Hopefully, I am among the first 100 visitors and got the free audio cd 'What It Takes To Succeed In Business'. It will be a good place for networking. I must not forget to bring a lot of business cards for distribution. Now, I wonder whether four (4) hours is sufficient since I did not call the organisor to request for more time. I got to keep the organisor's, Entrepreneur Action Program Sdn. Bhd., website address www.exec-directions.com/my. Perhaps after that a visit to Plaza Low Yat is good also for the PC Fair 3 2008.

In today's Harian Metro, there is an advertisement on how to make RM300 income per day involving e-mail managing. The work can be done at home.

Next to the advertisement is another advertisement with regards to distributing telecomunication products & ict.

I believe both advertisements are related to the company that I got my I.GOmobile! from. This is because the first advertisement display a website for a product that I have seen being promoted by personnel that sell igomobile.
